8th Symposium of the Euopean Association of Acarologists

Under the framework of SRNSF’s call for travel grants,Tea arabuli  participated in the 8th Symposium of the Euopean Association of Acarologists, where he made a presentation on the "morphological variability of the (Caucasus) populations." European akarologta Association Symposium is held every 4 years in European countries, the event was first held in 1988 in Austria. 8th Symposium held in Spain, in Valencia. The event was attended by the US, Brazil, Japan, Asian and African countries leading scientists. Symposium within the following reports were presented hurts, parasite, prey and free-living mites various groups in biology, ecology, genetics and phylogeny.

Communication Strategy of the Dmanisi, Vani and Dzaliza Museum-Reserves The Georgian National Museum

The Georgian National Museum (GNM) was established in 2004 and united Country’s major museums. Complex renovation process, considering adaptation of the modern museum standards started. Creation of friendly, interactive environment for the audience who can spend pleasant time in the museum while gaining new knowledge is part of the process. Renovated Dmanisi Museum-reserve, where 1.8 million years old human ancestors were unearthed, opened in 2009. Visitors are given a unique chance to enjoy ruins of a medieval city and the prehistoric archaeological site at the same time, while interacting with archaeologists and observing their working process. Vani Museum-Reserve in western Georgia (Colkheti) includes remains of the Temple City, an expedition base and the museum. Discoveries of the rich burials dating back to 5 th – 4 th cc. BC explain why Colkheti was referred to as the Land of the Golden Fleece in Greco-Roman sources. Dzalisa Museum 2 nd c. BC. – 4 th c. AD. is one of the most important archeological monuments in the historic kingdom of Kartli (Iberia, eastern Georgia). Streets and squares, public buildings and temples decorated with distinguished mosaic were discovered in the City. Presentation covers communiction strategy of the GNM for its Museum-reserves. How we are working to improve the visitor expariance in Dmanisi and create it for Vani and Dzalisa for their reopening after the renovation works are finished.

The IVth INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONGRESS “AGRIMACHINERY”

Under the framework of SRNSF’s call for travel grants, Giotgi Qutelia  participated The IV th  INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONGRESS “AGRIMACHINERY”  at  22-25.06.2016 in Varna, Bulgaria. He  had submitted  Presentation : WEAR RESISTANCE OF THE PLOWSHARES OF THE AGRICULTURAL PLOWS WORKING UNDER MOUNTAINOUS CONDITIONS AND THE INCREASE OF THEIR RESOURCE. The Congress was attended by Italy, Georgia, Turkey, Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Macedonia and Pakistani representatives. The program featured reports were distributed to 3 categories: "Agricultural machinery". Research and testing. Construction of the new "car and mechanisms". "Engines". Vehicles. Transportation technologies. Maintenance and repair agricultural machinery. "The use of vehicles. Innovative technologies. Power technologies.

The 6th International Congress on Chemical, Biological and Environmental Sciences

Under the framework of SRNSF’s call for travel grants, Imeda Rubashvili participated in the The 6th International Congress on  Chemical, Biological and Environmental Sciences (ICCBES 2016) on May 10-12, 2016. Where he made a presentation on “REMOVAL OF VOLATILE N-NITROSAMINES FROM TOBACCO  SMOKE  USING  LOCAL NATURAL  ZEOLITES”. Congress was organized by Osaka University and Higher Education Center; Congress submitted reports were published in the collection of theses and took part in the world's 40 countries with 300 scholars; Congress included as scientific work - plenary, sectional sessions, also stendur reports, social dinners, closing the evening and the Japanese culture prepared specially for recreational activities.

Problems of Territorial Organization

On October 20, 2016 in the frameworks of the awarded Grant in Basic Research of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, an international scientific conference on the Problems of Territorial Organization was organized at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. (Grant project – “The Ways of Solving Problems of Territorial Organization of Georgia through the Comparative-Legal Analysis of Territorial Organization of Belgium and Spain”. The project was implemented by the Associate Professor of the Faculty of Law of the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Doctor of Laws, Mrs. Lela Janashvili and Professor of the David Aghmashenebeli University of Georgia, Doctor of Laws, Mr. Giorgi Gogiashvili). Participants of the conference included the Rector of the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Giorgi Sharvashidze, first Deputy State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, Mr. Petre Kankava, Deputy Minister of the Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia, Mr. Shota Rekhviashvili, Deputy Director General of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, Tinatin Bochorishvili, Professor Giorgi Khubua, Georgian and Spanish experts.

The Second Caucasian Symposium

"Modern Trends in Extended Prostate Cancer Treatment" The Second Caucasian Symposium was opened on October 19, 2016 with the financial support of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation (under International / Regional Conference grant). Guram Karazanashvili (organizer of the Symposium), Tinatin Bochorishvili (Deputy Director General of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation) and foreign guests delivered welcoming remarks . Leading specialists of many countries are attending the Symposium. It ends on October 21, 2016.

On October 17, 2016 a midterm report (early results of scientific research) of project “Cultural Monuments of the Far East and India - Unknown Collections of the Georgian National Museum” /FR/372/2-150/14/ (approved granted project under SRNSF Basic Research Call) was presented at the conference hall of the Educational Department of Georgian National Museum. Representatives of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation and academic personnel of different universities attended the meeting.

VII International Academic Conference for Kartvelian Studies

VII International Academic Conference in Kartvelian studies was opened at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, “Georgia within the context of European Civilization” is the theme for the conference this time. The Academic Conference is being held with the financial support of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation (under International / Regional Conference grant). The event was attended by the TSU rector – Giorgi Sharvashidze, the representatives of Georgian government, foreign scientists from the universities and research centers of Philadelphia, Boston, Jerusalem, Birmingham, Tokyo, Warsaw, Tehran, Venice, Frankfurt, Bremen, Jen, Nünberg, Meinz, Paris, Madrid, Insbruck, Moscow, Kiev and Rize, as well as other education institutions of Georgia. Within the scope of the academic conference, a variety of sections were available within the Georgian studies: Rustaveli and Rustavelogy, Ivane Javakhishvili and the Georgian Historography, Georgian linguistics, Medieval Georgian Literature, New and Modern Georgian Literature, Georgian Economic and Political Perspectives, Archeology, Folklore, Ethnology, the History of Georgian Philosophy, Georgian Art. Georgian and Foreign Scientists presented their reports. The VII international Academic conference for Kartvelian Studies will end on October 22, 2016.

18th Conference of the European Society for Clinical Hemorheology and Microcirculation

18th Conference of the European Society for Clinical Hemorheology and Microcirculation took place on 5-8 June in Portugal, Lisboa, Faculty of Medicine (Edificio Egas Moniz, Centro Hospitalar). General Topics for Symposium were fundamental issues of Microcirculation and Hemorheology, modern methods for research, pharmacy drug function to Microcirculation, health management and policy related issues. Maia Mantskava delivered a speech on the topic ‘Blood rheological status during pregnancy’ - which has not been studied before. She chaired the section, which discussed the role of rheological characters generating other diseases.

Indoor Radon and Dose Parameters in Dwellings in Tbilisicity- the main city of Georgia. Also, published  Proceedings of the conference, which was published in full by the registered publications.
