Estonian Scientific Computing Infrastructure (ETAIS)

ETAIS represents one of the projects of the Estonian Roadmap, aiming to increase competitiveness of the Estonian computing and data-intensive research disciplines by providing access to a new and modern scientific computing infrastructure. The infrastructure includes hardware (computers, storage media, network devices), server rooms, software and support services necessary for the operation of the helpdesk.
Project is partially funded through Estonian Research Council, co-financed by participating universities, users and other Roadmap objects.
ETAIS is focused on creating infrastructural as well as programming materials for partners.
Cooperation with project includes 3 years of partnership, aim of which is creating electronic databases, software and hardware materials mostly suitable for universities and science researches.
In the list of supported partners, there are University of Tartu (UT) and European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN).

ERC information day
The Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia organizes ERC information day. As the Foundation represents contact organization of ERC in Georgia, it carries out information day for scientists, intending to participate in ERC calls.
The meeting will be held in English and Georgian, on July 1, 16:00, in the conference hall of the Foundation.
