Research and education joint call between LEPL Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia and Forschungszentrum - Jülich Aim of the call is to give future opportunity to Master and PhD students, to conduct fundamental and applied research, linked to their thesis field, at Jülich research centers. For results please, see Decree №194 , of Director General of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia signed on December 14.

Within the frame of the Call for Applied Research State grants 2018, 24 proposals made through the third stage, out of which, principal investigators/key personnel of 23 projects did their presentations in front of the evaluation committee. Author of 1 project did not attend the evaluation process. The committee evaluated all 23 presentations according to the evaluation criteria, approved by the decree N85 of the Government of Georgia, dated as of February 16, 2011. The winners have been selected according to the “rule of calculation and funding of the final score of submitted projects within the frame of the Call for Applied Research State grants 2018”, approved by the decree N191 by SRNSFG Director General, dated as of December 11, 2018. 14 projects have been selected for funding. The winners of the 2018 Call for Research State Grants with Participation of Compatriots have been selected. Overall, 32 proposals have been submitted within the frame of the call, out of which 3 proposals have not passed the eligibility check. International experts have evaluated 29 projects according to the evaluation criteria approved by the decree N88 of the Government of Georgia dated as of February 16, 2011. 9 projects have been selected for funding. The winners of the Scientific-Research Grant Call for " Halyomorpha Halys Elimination State Programme 2018" have been selected. Overall, 9 proposals have been submitted within the frame of the grant call. Group of international experts evaluated all 9 projects according to the evaluation criteria approved by the decree N77 of SRNSFG Director General, dated as of June 14, 2018. As a result 4 projects have been selected for funding. Overall, 23 applications have been submitted for the grant call for the award of the best young Scientists and group of scientists, call for 2018 out of which 1 has not passed the eligibility check. The evaluation commission has evaluated the submitted projects in accordance with the Decree N88 dated as of June 26, 2018 of the Director General of SRNSFG and selected proposals for  4 categories for funding. Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia disseminates information about Conference Grant Call 2018 results. 26 applications have been registered in the conference grant competition for 2018. Due to the competition conditions, the competition commission has rejected 3 applications for the project.
