Results of the scientific joint call 2017 (CNRS PICS)

In the framework of the joint call 2017 between the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) of France and the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia (SRNSFG), the International Scientific Cooperation Project- PICS, two applications were submitted and evaluated by the independent experts from Georgia and France. One project titled as ‘’Last Neanderthal and first Anatomically Modern Human settlements in Georgia’’ submitted by the Georgian National Museum was selected to funding. Aim of the joint call of the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) of France and the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia (SRNSFG), the International Scientific Cooperation Project- PICS is to consolidate and formalize ongoing cooperation with the Georgian and France scientific community. Duration of the financed project is 3 years. Next joint call will be announced in April, 2018.

Results of the Joint Call between SRNSFG and CNR

Joint Research projects have been selected for funding within the 2017 Joint Call between the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia and National Research Council of Italy ( Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche  ( CNR ). Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia announces the results of the 2017 Young Scientists Research Grant call. Here you can find the decree by the Director General regarding the approval of ranked lists. The authors of the winner projects have to submit the documents defined by the decree of the Director General before 6 th of December, 18:00 at the chancellery of the Foundation. Please note, that the grant agreement will not be signed if the documents are provided later than the aforementioned deadline.

Young inventors and researchers ‘Leonardo Da Vinci’

The competition commission of the competition programme for young inventors and researchers ‘Leonardo Da Vinci’ evaluated 19 applications presented at the final stage of the competition, on the basis of evaluation criteria affirmed by the N7 decree of Director General of February 7th and revealed the winners of 2017 competition. There were 44 applications for 2017 competition programme for young inventors and researchers ‘Leonardo Da Vinci’, out of which 19 were selected for the final stage and were exhibited at “TBC Bank’’. Applicants presented their work in front of the audience at the exhibition. Competition target group was schoolchildren of 7-12 grades. Noteworthy, from 44 applications, 19 have been presented from the regions of Georgia (Kutaisi, Khashuri, Batumi, Rustavi, Chokatauri, Akhmeta,Tsageri) and 25 - from Tbilisi, Competition commission elicited the winners and special prize holders.
